Isekai, a genre of Japanese fantasy, is gaining popularity around the world. It involves characters being transported to a parallel universe or alternate world. While the stories often involve heroic adventures, I experienced a very different kind of journey when I found myself in an isekai world. I was attacked by a group of bandits and narrowly escaped with my life. Little did I know that the man who saved me was a killer.
A Narrow Escape
I was walking through the forest when I heard the sound of horses galloping towards me. I turned to find a group of bandits on horseback, armed with swords and knives. I immediately ran for my life, but they were gaining on me. I had no choice but to hide in a nearby cave and hope that they would pass me by.
Luckily, my plan worked and I was able to evade them. But I was still in danger. I was lost and alone in an unfamiliar world, with no way to get back home. I had no idea what to do next.
An Unlikely Savior
Suddenly, a man appeared out of nowhere. He was dressed in black and had a sword at his side. He told me not to be afraid, and offered to help me. I was hesitant at first, but decided to take a chance and accept his help.
Little did I know that this man was a killer. He had been hired by the bandits to kill me, but he had chosen to spare my life instead. He helped me find my way back home, and even gave me some money to help me get back on my feet.
I was shocked and grateful for his kindness. I never expected to be saved by a killer, but I am thankful that he chose to help me instead.
My isekai journey was a frightening experience, but I am grateful for the help I received from the unlikely savior. His kindness and compassion made me realize that anyone can be capable of kindness, even a killer.
